Month 4
As the van build is coming together and we start to make plans for our first trip at the end of August, I have been planning my stockpiling of oils and what I'll need to take with and experimenting with a few things.
I'll definitely be taking my diffuser
Thieves is an obvious choice to keep any cold and bugs at bay. I bought a 15ml this month to hopefully make it last but the rate I'm going through it with summer bugs at the moment I may need a top up! lol I do rub it under my feet and diffuse it when I feel a bit of a bug coming on just to help support my immune system a bit. I made up a hand wash with Castille soap which I'm enjoying, added a bit of lemon too (which I have now run out of and will have to top up next month!) I'm thinking of trying it as a shampoo with some tea tree for lice prevention for my daughter and Cedarwood to see if it can help the dry scalp, I'll keep you posted as I need to get tea tree! lol
Thieves cleaner is now a definite must on the list! I have been using it for a while now as my spray cleaner and just love it! I also made up a little spray hand sanitiser this month to try out for use on our travels and it's great! I use it instead of soap after going to the loo, give each hand a few sprays and it just evaporates so saves water and is a lot easier than having to deal with getting rid of the water from washing hands.
R.C This has become indispensable over the past 2 months for both myself and my father, who suffers from lung problems and gets asthma. I get terrible hayfever this time of the year so I found it really helps support me at the moment, my dad said that he just leans over the diffuser and breathes it straight in, much more pleasant and easier than the old fashioned towel over the head and boiling water lol. We have both also found that it helps ease the snoring a bit as the passages are more open.
Tangerine A wonderful little surprise as my special treat for my 4th order :-) who doesn't love a freebee? Makes a lovely mix with lemon for a roller ball for a lovely uplifting smell or even in the diffuser for a lovely uplifting smell :-)
20% points back! Of course the exciting news is that, with my 4th month I now move from 10% to 20% points back so my total is ticking over nicely :-) saving it up for Christmas so I can have a lovely to me from me treat box ;-p
